Hyderabad: Mayor Bonthu Rammohan undergoes COVID test

Hyderabad: Mayor Bonthu Rammohan had to undergo COVID-19 test to verify status of his health, as a person from a café in Ramnagar where he had tea tested positive for virus a few days back. He recalled that after participating in Pattana Pragathi, a special sanitation programme in the area, along with MLA Mutha Gopal he had tea at a café.

"Moved by the concern shown by many over the news that a person from a cafe', where I had tea after participating #PattanaPragathi, a special Sanitation Programme called by @KTRTRS garu, the other day in Ramnagar, tested +ve," he tweeted, after test results were found to be negative.

Later he also crosschecked the facts with officials and came to know that the person who tested positive left the cafe 12 days back. "Which means at least 9 days, before we had tea over there. So the chance of catching the COVID is ruled out," he contented.
