Hyderabad: Metro services on JBS-MGBS stretch begins

Metro services on JBS-MGBS stretch began from Saturday around 6.30 am. Passengers can breathe a sigh of relief travelling between JBS and MGBS in 16 minutes without getting caught in the traffic snarls.

The train passes through JBS Parade Grounds, Secunderabad West, Gandhi Hospital, Musheerabad, RTC crossroads, Chikkadpalli, Narayanaguda, Sultan Bazar and MGBS. The JBS-MGBS stretch was formally launched by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday.

He travelled all along from JBS to MGBS metro station along with the ministers, Metro officials and other public representatives. After inspecting the MGBS metro stretch for around 45 minutes, the chief minister left by car.

With the launch of metro services between JBS and MGBS on corridor II, phase 1 of the Hyderabad metro rail has completed.
