Hyderabad: Midhani signs eight MoUs at Defexpo20

Hyderabad: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (Midhani), city-based Defence Public sector enterprise is a Strategic Material Partner to Defence, Space & Energy sector. It specializes in high-end materials with unique focus on critical materials like superalloy, titanium alloys and special steels, according to a press release issued here. Midhani, participating in the 11th edition of Defexpo20 at Lucknow, is showcasing a varied range of indigenously manufactured products for strategic sectors like Army, Navy and Aerospace. On Friday, Minister of State for Defence Shripad Yesso Naik visited its stall at Defexpo20. Dr Sanjay Kumar Jha briefed the Minister on exhibits displayed at the stall.

Meanwhile, Midhani signed eight Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with domestic & international organisations at the 'Bandhan' Ceremony at DefExpo'20 in the august presence of UP CM, Defence Secretary, Chairman of DRDO & Secretary (Department of Defence R&D) & other key officials from GoI & UP state government. Few of the MoUs that were signed are M/s National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, (NSIC), a Government of India Enterprise engaged in the promotion, aiding and fostering the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India. Midhani and NSIC will jointly work towards facilitating the requirements of strategic materials for MSME industry particularly supplied to Defence Industries. Midhani and LNG Bharat Pvt Ltd and Shell-N-Tube will jointly develop suitable materials for applications in Defence liquefied natural gas / cryogenic industry / space etc and to market in India and abroad

Midhani and Al Rama International FZCO will work together to supply super alloys, titanium & its alloys and special steel for Middle East Region in defence, energy & other sectors.

Midhani and Raghu Vamsi Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd will work together to supply of value-added components of super alloys, titanium & its alloys and special steel for aerospace sector

Midhani and Bharij Fabricators will jointly develop and manufacture armour products for Indian defence and international market.
