Hyderabad: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited signs MoU with Kazakhstan firm

Hyderabad: JSC Shipbuilding & Ship Repair Technology Center, Russia, and MIDHANI (Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited) exchanged at Defexpo20 Lucknow on Thursday.

MIDHANI also entered into a tie-up with UKTMP, Kazakhstan, to work together on manufacturing of Titanium based products for defence sector. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Likhi, CMD, MIDHANI and Mamutova Assem Tlekovna, president of UKTMP, signed the MoU, in the presence of Silvan Gehler, head of board of directors, UKTMP, and other key officials from MIDHANI and UKTMP.

MIDHANI and JSC Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Technology Center, Russia, exchange MoU, it envisages, to jointly work in design, manufacture, repair, testing and certification of ship board pipeline valves and fittings. The event was attended by Dr Sanjay Kumar Jha (D(P&M) – MIDHANI), Anastasiya V Bobrous (Head of External Relations Department) and officials from MIDHANI, JSC Shipbuilding & Ship repair Technology Center.

Dr Dinesh Kumar Likhi moderated a panel discussion at Defexpo20.R&D and IT officers of MIDHANI presented on the topic "Alloy development through Artificial Intelligence." The D(P&M) MIDHANI, Dr Sanjay Kumar Jha, shared his views on emerging areas of additive manufacturing, advanced and smart materials. R&D experts from MIDHANI made a presentation on the topics "Additive Manufacturing - From Metal Powders to Product", "Stepping Towards Advanced and Smart Materials."
