Hyderabad police seize Rs 3 Cr hawala money from jeweller's house

The Banjara Hills police seized Rs 3.50 crore hawala money from a jeweller's house on Friday. The jeweller Anil is learned to have been distributing the hawala money.
After he failed to produce the documents pertaining to the cash, the police seized the money. It will be handed over to the Income Tax department.
A case has been registered by the police and an investigation is launched.
On Thursday, the task force police seized Rs 49 lakh cash while it is being transported in a BMW car. Three persons were taken into custody. The money is learned to have belonged to an MP candidate contesting from Malkajgiri segment.
