Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospital sets up isolation wards
Hyderabad: In what could encourage other corporate hospitals in the city, Yashoda Hospitals group has come forward to treat coronavirus cases.
It has allocated isolation wards with 60 beds having ventilator support, 20 beds each in its hospitals in Secunderabad, Somajiguda and Malakpet.
Also, the corporate hospital is donating 2 lakh safety masks to the government. Already 1.2 lakh masks were handed over to the Health Department and the remaining 80,000 will be sent within a day.
Yashoda MD G S Rao and Vice President Suresh Kumar met Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Tuesday in this connection.
They lauded the efforts of Telangana Health Department which is working in a mission mode relating to coronavirus.
Various other corporate and private hospitals have also established isolation wards to treat coronavirus cases.
