Hyderabad:Soon, digital classrooms at Nizamia Tibbi College
Charminar: Rather than lamenting for lack of support from State government, the staff of Government Nizamia Tibbi College (GNTC) took upon themselves and decided to modernise classrooms.
In this endeavor, one of the proposed seven classrooms has been 'digitalised' through their contributions from staff for providing better education to the students pursuing to be doctors of Unani branch of alternative medicine (alt-med) in India.

Dr Yamani said that these classrooms were getting digitised through concerted effort and contribution of staff and also by the college alumni. "This was only possible because the newly appointed principal, staff, students and alumni worked in tandem on this project. Moreover, this was a heritage structure, and everyone should come forward to protect it," he added. It may be mentioned here that, with the contribution of staff several works were taken up in the last couple of months and have been successfully executed while setting an example. While one of the major attractions at this institution was 'Nishaan-e-Tib' (symbol of Unani medicine), which saw the light of the day on January 26.
