Kamareddy: MLA Hanmanth Shinde fires on mandal agricultural officer for his ignorance

Kamareddy: Jukkal MLA Hanmanth Shinde was outraged at a mandal agricultural officer for his ignorance over the details of the crops under cultivation in the mandal. He warned the agricultural officer of withholding his increment. Without the statistics, it will be like searching for a black cat in darkness, he commented. The MLA questioned the officer how we can supply to the needs of the farmers.

After he inaugurated redgram purchase centre at Dostpally road in Jukkal mandal on Tuesday, farmers expressed their disappointment to the MLA as they do not know the details of the crops cultivated in their fields. Shinde said that he received several complaints from farmers in this regard and was angry on the mandal agricultural officer, who is neglecting even the MLA's orders to change his working style.

Warning the officer of suggesting the senior officials to withhold his increment, Shinde even said that the issue will be put before the privilege committee in the Assembly. Later, the MLA explained the farmers about the steps taken to avoid shortage of fertilisers during the Rabi season.
