Karne takes charge as government whip

Hyderabad: TRS leader and MLC Karne Prabhakar took charge as the government whip at a newly made chamber in the Assembly premises on Monday.

Thanking Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the post, Karne Prabhakar said that the post had increased his responsibilities. Prabhakar said, he would try to ensure everyone in the Council gets time to talk in the discussions.

He called up on all party leaders to work for taking the State in development path.

The chief minister would give opportunities to all the leaders, who were part of the Telangana agitation in an appropriate time, he said.

The ministers including Md Mahamood Ali, G Jagadish Reddy, V Prashanth Reddy, E Rajender, former minister Naini Narasimha Reddy, Chief Whip in Assembly D Vinay Bhaskar, several MLAs, MLCs, Hyderabad Mayor B Rammohan and other party activists were present.
