Mahbubnagar: Dream big, work hard says Collector S Venkat Rao

Mahbubnagar: District Collector S Venkat Rao advised the students to set targets in life and work hard accordingly to achieve them, only then they can achieve their goals in future.

He participated in a motivational and awareness programme for the students of government schools and junior colleges, who secured top ranks in IIT, NEET and national level competitive exams at the Collectorate here on Monday. S Venkat Rao congratulated the students and advised them not to become complacent with the initial achievements of bagging good ranks as getting good rank is only the beginning and there is a long path to travel to achieve success.

The Collector recollected the sayings of late president of India Abdul Kalam that students must not stop dreaming, but instead they should dream big and to work accordingly to achieve their dreams. He also said that the education system under government sector has evolved a lot and improved drastically over the past few years.

'Both State and Central governments are providing scholarships and various facilities for the students to take up higher education not just in India, but also abroad.'
