Hyderabad: Raising doubt over how Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would sanction hundreds of crores of public money to his native Chintamadaka village, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi on Wednesday demanded that the Governor call for a report from the government on the huge allocations made to the village.

Speaking to media, Ravi contended that the money allotted by the Chief Minister to his native village was not his own but public money. He said the Congress would not have any objection if the State government allocated several crores of rupees for a single project of Chintamadaka, but they were raising objection to the fact that the CM had sanctioned money for his personal gains.
