MLA Dr M Anand asks officials to enforce Nursery Act

Vikarabad: MLA Dr M Anand on Monday directed the officials of horticulture and sericulture department to fully implement the Nursery Act in the district. The MLA asked the officers to provide sprinklers and equipment related to the drip irrigation to poor farmers.

He told them to implement Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana effectively. The legislator also stressed on preventing sale of spurious seeds and fertilisers. Officials were asked to help farmers for construction of permanent 'pandiris' and farm ponds.
