MLA Gongidi Sunitha Says government to construct 18-crore litre water plant in Yadagirigutta

Yadadri-Bhongir: Government Whip and Alair MLA Gongidi Sunitha stated that the government has decided to construct a water treatment plant of 18 crore litres capacity at an estimated cost of Rs 290 crore at Datarupally village of Yadadgirigutta mandal. The construction of the water treatment plant aims at supplying drinking water to Alair, Bhongir and Medchal constituencies under Mission Bhagiratha scheme.

Addressing the media persons at the municipal office in Yadagirigutta, she said the proposed site for water treatment plant was examined by RWS engineer in chief recently. The Revenue department has allocated 23 acres for the construction of the water treatment plant at Datarupally, she explained. CM KCR ordered the officials concerned to complete the treatment plant within a year to serve the purpose, she added Urban local body representatives and party leaders were present.
