MP urges Centre to set up KV, Navodaya schools in Mahbubnagar district

Mahbubnagar: Member of Parliament Manne Srinivas Reddy has demanded that the Centre established Kendriya Vidyalaya schools and Jawahar Navodaya Schools in Mahbubnagar district.

The MP gave a representation to Union Human Resource Minister Ramesh Pokrial recently in this regard and urged him to ensure that the school are established without delay. "At present we are having only one Kendriya Vidyalaya school in Mahbubnagar headquarters.

It is catering to the needs of only those living in the local area. The people in Narayanpet, Kodangal and Makthal areas too are demanding for schools to ensure that their children get quality education, he said. He appealed to the Union Minister to to set up a second KV school in any of the three backward constituencies in the district.

Similarly, there is only one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) School in Nagarkurnool district, he said, and urged the Union Minister to set up a second Navodaya school anywhere between Shadnagar and Devarkadra.
