MRPS throws weight behind Cong in LS polls

Yadadri-Bhongir: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga stated that Samithi has extended its support to Congress in 2018 Assembly elections and would extend the same to Congress in Lok Sabha elections too.

Addressing the media in Bhongir on Monday, he said except for Nagarkurnool and Secunderabad Parliamentary constituencies, MRPS will support Congress party in the remaining 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in the State.

MRPS came forward openly to support Congress in both Assembly and Parliament elections after getting firm assurance on SC Categorisation by Congress high command, he informed.

He called upon Samithi leaders, followers and people of Bhongir to back Congress MP candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in the upcoming Parliament elections and teach befitting lesson to Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other parties.
