Plant at least two saplings: Nakrekal MLA tells constituency people

Ramannapet (Yadadri-Bhongir): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has designed Haritha Haram programme to improve greenery in the State in order to get good rains and to control increasing pollution, said Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah.

On Friday, he participated in the Haritha Haram programme at Siripuram village in Ramannapet mandal in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, he called upon people in the constituency to plant at least two saplings to transform Nakrekal into a green constituency. "Plantation drive in the constituency must be carried out like a movement to achieve the target," he said.

He advised people to take care of planted saplings till they survive and suggested youngsters, peoples' representatives to encourage their respective villagers take up plantation drive on a largescale and increase the green cover in the district.
