Ponnala Laxmaiah lambasts government for failure in handling Covid pandemic
Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former TPCC president P Laxmaiah took a broadside at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao accusing him of failing to handle the corona crisis and extending medical facilities to the infected persons.
The Congress leader said that the dharna staged by junior doctors was a stark example of the government's failure in the handling the situation. Shortage of PPEs, incubators and masks are the order of the day in Telangana and the doctors are struggling to extend medical treatment to the patients in the poor conditions.
Laxmaiah questioned the CM for advising the people with positive cases to undergo treatment in their homes when such a big and exclusive Covid treatment centre is opened at Gachibowli stadium in Hyderabad. He also lambasted KCR for not divulging the details of the CMRF funds received through donations from the corporate world.
The Congress leader found fault with the government on the regulated farming without scientific approachment.
