Praveen Rao assumes charge as VC of PJTSAU

Hyderabad: Dr V Praveen Rao, assumed charge as Vice-Chancellor of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) here on Friday, at his chambers in the administrative office in Rajendranagar.

The VC has assured charge after the State government issued an order reappointing him as the VC for further period of three years.

Registrar PJTSAU Dr Sudheer Kumar and other university officers met the VC in his chambers and congratulated him for being appointed as VC for a further term. Several members of the teaching and nonteaching staff, outsourcing staff members met the VC and congratulated him.

Later, the VC along with the registrar inaugurated Automatic Book lending Machine in the University Knowledge management centre (University Library).

The radio frequency identification self-check system based automatic book lending machine services were introduced in PJTSAU knowledge management centre here. The university officers, students were present at the inauguration programme.
