Professor Jayashankar is the father of Telangana: Collector Satyanarayana

Kamareedy: District Collector Satyanarayana stated that Acharya Jayashankar is the father of Telangana during the celebrations of 85th birth anniversary of the Professor at Janahita meeting hall of the Collector's office in Kamareddy on Tuesday.

Collector Satyanarayana and district SP Shweta Reddy participated in the programme and paid tributes. The Collector said that Jayashankar was involved in the Telangana movement since 1952 and he was constantly questioning the injustice of Telangana. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is implementing whatever Prof Jayashankar dreamt of doing for separate Telangana State. District SP Swetha Reddy said the development of the region is the main target for the demand of separate state of Telangana. If everyone works together, then the dream of Bangaru Telangana will be realised, she said. ZP CEO, RDO Rajendra Kumar, district officials and others attended the event.
