Secunderabad: IRISET gets new Director General

Secunderabad: S K Goel takes charge as Director General, Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering & Telecommunications (IRISET), a premier centralised training institute on Indian Railways imparting training in railway signalling & telecommunications, March 4. He belongs to 1982 batch of Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE).

Goel happens to be the first Director General appointed to take charge of IRISET. On assuming charge, he called upon Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway on Thursday at SCR Headquarters, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

Goel during his tenure as Executive Director, Railway Board underwent advance strategic management programme at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
