Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy: 5,000 2BHKs are under constructionin in Nizamabad
Nizamabad: About 5,000 double bedroom houses with all basic facilities are being constructed in the 106 villages of Banswada constituency at a cost of Rs 500 crores, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy stated. Along with R&B, Housing and Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy, the Speaker had participated in development works in several villages of Banswada constituency on Friday. The duo handed over 40 new double bedroom houses to beneficiaries of Ranganagar village of Kotagiri mandal in Banswada constituency and inaugurated SC community hall in Kollur village, constructed with Rs 7.50 lakh.
Speaker Srinivasa Reddy assured the people that with the help of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he would build another 10,000 houses within the constituency. He further informed of submitting proposals for the construction of a godown with cold storage in Banswada constituency near Ranganagar village.
Minister Prashant Reddy said Chief Minister KCR instructed them to make arrangements to provide lakhs of houses to the poor by Dasara. Prashanthereddy said he was happy to provide 40 houses for the poor people in Kotagiri mandal. He assured that every deserving poor will get a house.
