Suresh used as pawn in murder: Accused's wife

Hyderabad: K Latha, wife of murder accused K Suresh, who brutally killed of Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy, alleged that her husband was made scapegoat in the murder case. She said that there were other persons who influenced her husband in killing the Tahsildar.

Suresh, who was seriously injured in the attack, was undergoing treatment at Osmania Hospital. Speaking to media on Wednesday, Latha said that her husband never spoke about the land dispute but was scared that they might lose their land.

She said that in the morning hours of the day of incident, she left to her workplace and did not know that her husband was going to take such extreme step. She stressed that there were some other people who used her husband as pawn and made him to commit such crime. She also demanded that a detailed investigation be carried out to find out the real culprits.

Suresh with almost 65 per cent burn injuries was undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital and doctors on Wednesday said Suresh's condition in still critical and his health deteriorated further.
