Telangana Government failed in controlling coronavirus: AICC secretary Vamsi Chand Reddy

Hyderabad: AICC secretary Ch Vamsi Chand Reddy on Thursday alleged that the State government miserably failed in controlling the Coronavirus spread in the State. Addressing the media, he said that government did not follow the directions of High Court. The government was much interested in ensuring revenue that protecting the lives of the people.

He alleged that the government has issued orders in April not to conduct tests to asymptomatic cases and primary contacts of Covid-19 patients. This was criticized by ICMR. He said that TS contact tracing figure stood at as low as 14 per one Covid-19 confirmed case whereas it was 54 in AP, 44 in Tamil Nadu, 40 in Kerala and 93 in Karnataka.
