Telangana: TJS to contest from three segments in Lok Sabha elections

Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) has decided to contest in Lok Sabha election from Hyderabad, Khammam and Mahabubabad. Announcing their decision, the party chief Kodandaram also declared the candidates for the segments. However, TJS is said to be extending their support to the Congress party in the remaining segments.
TJS leader Qavi Abbasi who is contesting for Hyderabad segment will face AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in the elections.
Addressing a press meet, the TJS chief said that the tribals and minorities in the state are suffering from several issues under TRS rule. Citing the farmers' nomination in Nizamabad, Kodandaram alleged that the cases were registered on them for filing papers.
