Telangana to witness rainfall over next 3 days
Parts of Telangana including Hyderabad are likely to witness rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over the next three days, said the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The weathermen attributed the cause of rainfall is due to the flow South-west monsoon winds to the Maldives, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of south Bay of Bengal.
Also, the pressure is being formed at South-east Arabian sea and the neighbouring North and central Arabia sea on May 31 which tells the entry of south-west monsoon winds to Kerala, said a senior official of IMD.
With the rainfall, people can sigh a relief from the intense heatwave. The state has been experiencing a tremendous rise in the maximum and minimum temperatures for the last few days which recorded four degree Celsius above the normal range. On Friday, Munugode in Nalgonda district has recorded the highest temperature of 46 degree Celsius while Hyderabad registered 43 degrees Celsius, an all-time high in the season.
