Treat roads connecting states as highways: MP BB Patil

Zaheerabad: Parliament Member BB Patil has appealed to the central government to recognise the connecting roads of different states as inter-state highways.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the zero hour, the MP said the roads with stretches three 3m to 10 km are more at the borders of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana.

It has become a problem for the people as the roads do not have connectivity. He requested union transport minister Nitin Gadkari to take necessary steps to resolve the issue.
