VTDA planning officer in ACB net
Vemulawada: The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Monday arrested Vemulawada Temple Development Authority Chief Planning Officer Lakshman Goud while he was taking a bribe of Rs 6.5 lakhs from the complainant.
According to ACB sleuths, the accused officer demanded bribe from the complainants – Sandeep and Santosh – who are doing real estate business in Rudraram village for giving permission.
As per the officer Lakshman Goud's demand, Sandeep and Santosh went to Gajarathigalli near Saibaba temple in Hyderabad and handed over the amount to him.
ACB Circle Inspectors Venugopal and Lakshmi caught Lakshman was red-handed when he was taking the bribe amount.
The officials seized the amount and a case was booked against Goud.
