"Warangal, the epicentre of Telangana Movement, would soon see another agitation. This time around for healthcare facilities in the region especially demanding appointment of doctors, medical equipment and infrastructure," Dayakar said.

Even though the MGM Hospital is the lifeline of north Telangana besides catering to the healthcare needs of Sironcha region in Maharashtra, the government has blithe concern towards improving the facilities. The ruling TRS leaders have time to inaugurate the private hospitals but has no time for exerting pressure on the government for the betterment of services in MGM Hospital, he said.

Warangal DCC President N Rajender Reddy said that TRS people's representatives who time and again visit the hospital assure its development but to no avail. He found fault with the ruling party leaders for not putting efforts to improve the facilities in the hospital.

The programme was organised under the aegis of AIPC president Puli Anil Kumar in which Md Riaz, Dr Ramchandra Naik, Md Ayub, Mirza Azeezulla Baig, Poshala Padma, D Srinivas and T Rammohan Rao were among others present.
