WhatsApp message leads to clash among TRS, Cong workers in Raghavapuram

Bibinagar (Yadadri-Bhongir): A WhatsApp message had led to clash between the supporters of the Congress and the TRS party at Raghavapuram village of Bibinagar mandal in the district on Tuesday late night.

According to sources and the police, a youngster by name Vikram posted circulated a denigrating message with regard to Congress party worker Korni Pandu. Reacting to Vikram's post, Pandu went to Vikram's house and warned him. In this context, Vikram attacked Pandu and injured him.

After getting to know about the incident, the workers of Congress party in the village expressing their anger attacked Vikram and other TRS workers at the Vikram's house. In this clash, Pandu suffered head injury and Survi Basvaraj suffered injury on his chest. The duo Congress workers were shifted to a private hospital at Uppal in Hyderabad for treatment.

Congress workers expressing their concern over the mute spectator role of police, who were engaged in the village to avoid post poll violence, staged a protest when police stopped them while heading towards Bibinagar police station to lodge a complaint on attackers belonging to the TRS party.

Meanwhile, Bibinagar police put party mandal president and ZPTC candidate's husband Shyam Goud in a cell when he came to lodge complaint over quarrel took place at Ragahavapuram village. Further, the windshield of his car was allegedly broken by TRS workers.

Expressing their anger over police partiality, a large number of Congress workers gathered before the Bibinagar police station at midnight and raised slogans against police and demanded immediate release of party leader Shyam Goud unconditionally. CI Surender was forced to release Shyam, and congress workers' returned home after police filing case on attackers belonging to the TRS party.
