As the coronavirus is sending the shivers down the spine across the globe taking many lives, the first case reported in Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, a resident of Vadapalem in East Godavari district was tested positive for coronavirus. Authorities have identified the victim as a software employee in Hyderabad who went to South Korea as part of his duties has arrived in Vadapallem a week ago. He stayed there for three days. Officials from Hyderabad have informed the West Godavari collector that the software employee might have infected with Coronavirus.

The government administration reached Vadapalem late at night and inquired about a software employee. However, it was reported that he had gone to mother-in-law Godasivaripal. Officers who reached Godashivaripalam have taken the software employee to Kakinada GGH for tests. The authorities have said to be tested is samples of wife and mother-in-law.

With the latest one, the number of Corona victims rise to 6 in the country including one each in Delhi and Hyderabad. On Tuesday, chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has reviewed on the effect of Coronavirus in the state and directed the officials to be vigilant in preventing the virus from entering the state. The health minister also asserted that they are ready to face the situation and had set up isolation wards at all hospitals. While in the neighbouring state Telangana, the government has initiated steps to prevent the virus.
