The Telugu Desam Party on Friday has approached the High Court on yesterday's developments in Visakhapatnam where the former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was blocked from entering the city. The TDP leaders filed a Lunch Motion in the state high court on Friday morning on the obstruction of Chandrababu's visit and the police's actions at the Visakhapatnam airport.

The petition stated that the police had failed to stop the attacks on the TDP chief. The Andhra Pradesh High Court will hear arguments in the afternoon on the petition.

Chandrababu Naidu who is off to Visakhapatnam on Thursday was obstructed by some of the activists for TDP's stand on administrative capital in Visakhapatnam. The activists pelted stones and tomatoes on Chandrababu's convoy.
