Magunta Srinivasulu resigns to TDP and MLC seat
The Telugu Desam Party vice president and MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy tendered his resignation to the memberships of the party and Andhra Pradesh legislative council on Thursday.

Speaking at the press meet held in his office in Ongole, Magunta said that though his family hails from Nellore, the Prakasam district people have shown tremendous love and support to them. He claimed that his brother Subbarami Reddy was loved by the people of Prakasam district as no less than a god. He thanked the public for the love and affection in making the word- Magunta as a brand name and requested them to continue the same as Magunta family will try to continue in politics from Ongole only.
Amid slogans in support of him, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy announced that he is resigning to the TDP and MLC seat. He said that YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Subbarami Reddy shared a special bond in the days and their families have a concern about one another since decades.
He announced that he is joining the YSR Congress Party as per the demand and suggestions of Magunta family supporters and well wishers, to continue the welfare rule of Rajasekhar Reddy under the leadership of YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
