Role of photographers lauded in Tirupati
The World Photography Day celebrated with professional zeal and enthusiasm by press photographers at Tirupati Press Club here on Monday.
Tirupati: The World Photography Day celebrated with professional zeal and enthusiasm by press photographers at Tirupati Press Club here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, has lauded the efforts of press photographers, who always strive for good photos working in challenging situations. He said that each photo carries a lot of message and on many occasions and there will be no need to read the corresponding news item. Photos attract and convey the message to everyone irrespective of their educational and social background.
The MCT chief added that he will take steps to organise photo exhibition from next year onwards on the occasion of World Photography Day which can be watched by the citizens. Former Tirupati MLA M Suguna said that photos can create a lot of impact on the minds of people. By presenting the miseries of poor people, governments can understand the problem and come to their rescue, she added.
The President of Chittoor District Photographers Association K Radhakrishna has underlined the importance of human interesting photos and the challenges press photographers are facing in their day-to-day work.
The Secretary of the Association K Giribabu also spoke on the occasion. Senior journalists RM Uma Maheswar Rao, K Murali Mohan, R Murali, Press Club President K Sudheer and others were present. Senior photographers S Ramesh Kumar, KV Purnachandra Kumar, Madhav, Lavanya Kumar, I Subramanyam, Ismail, Srinivasulu and others were felicitated by PS Girsiha and M Suguna.
