Guntur: MLA Mustafa recalled the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru and others in the freedom struggle at a programme organised by GMC to mark Independence Day on Thursday.
GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar hoisted the national flag. Mustafa participated in the meeting as chief guest. Speaking on this occasion, he urged the youth to follow footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
He assured that he will develop infrastructure in the constituency. The GMC Commissioner explained development works taken up by the GMC in Guntur city. MLC KS Lakshmana Rao was also present.
