Hyderabad: For years USA used to be the most preferred destination for the overseas studies for the Indian students. Australia attracts around 300,000 international students every year. According to the statistics available approximately 68,000 Indian students go to Australia every year for their studies. The number is growing almost 15 per cent every year. Apart from the main cities like Melbourne and Sydney, they are also inclining towards new regions including Adelaide, Gold Coast, Perth and Northern Territory.

Another report, HSBC reveals that 46 per cent of parents in India are preferring to send their children to Australia than any other destinations.
