BJP releases first list of 21 candidates for GHMC elections 2020

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Telangana on Wednesday released its first list of 21 candidates for the GHMC elections in the state. It is learned that the candidates who are not only loyal to the party but also having high winning chances have been considered.

The candidates who have been listed include Pathergatti - Anil Bajaj, Moghalpura - P. Majula, Puranapul - Kongara Surender Kumar, Karwan - Katla Ashok, Langar Houz - S. Pushpa, Toli Chowki - K. Roja, Nanal Nagar - K. Karan Kumar, Saidabad - K. Aruna, Akbarbagh - Naveen Reddy, Dabeerpura - Mirza Akhil Afandi, Rein Bazar - Eeshwar Yadav, Lalithbagh - M. Chandrashekar, Kurmaguda - Uppalla Shantha, IS Sadan - Jangam Swetha, Riyasathnagar - Mahender Reddy, Chandrayanagutta - J. Naveen Kumar, Uppuguda - Thadem Srinivas Rao, Gowlipura - A. Bhagyalakshmi, Shahalibanda - Y. Naresh, Doodhbowli - Niranjan Kumar and Old Malakpet - Kanakaboina Renuka.

The BJP selection committee consists of Union Minister of State for Home affairs G. Kishan Reddy, National OBC president K. Laxman, party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, organising secretary Mantri Srinivas, former MP Vivek Venkataswamy, MLC N. Ramchander and others.

Meanwhile, the ruling TRS party also released the list of 105 candidates for the elections and the Congress announced two lists of total 45 candidates for the GHMC elections.
