Hyderabad: A young pair of table soccer players who clashed with international players in Abu Dhabi (UAE) in the UAE Masters Tournament 2019 Table Soccer returned home with bronze medals.
The pair of Zakir Ali Khan from Integral Foundation School Tolichowki and Maria Taneem from Telangana Minority Residential School, Saidabad, won the medal in juniors (U-14) mixed doubles in the Abu Dhabi tournament held a few days back.
Earlier, these two students won gold medals in different categories in the International table-soccer tournament which was held in Nepal from April 12 to14. Zakir Ali Khan won in singles as well as in mixed doubles in U-16 category, Maria Tameem won Gold medal in Open mix doubles category in senior group.
