‘Cashless transactions’ motivated short film release

Kakinada: East Godavari district collector H Arun Kumar on Tuesday released short video film on cashless transactions at Collectorate in Kakinada on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the collector said that this film was designed to remove apprehensions among people on demonetisation and to promote cashless transactions for purchase,services etc. He also said that one village in each mandal would be transformed for implementation of cashless transactions.

As a part of it Mori village in Sakhinetipalli would be declared as modal village by the Chief Minister during his visit to district on 29th of this month. In this village awareness programmes are being organised on fiber net, wifi, mobile net banking. He further said that efforts are being made to increase cashless transactions from three percent to 15 to 20 percent in the coming days in the District.
