‘More research needed on breast cancer’
More research is required on breast cancer and it is the only way to prevent its spread, said National Institute of Pathology (NIP) scientist in New Delhi Bagadi S A Raju. He delivered a key note address at a seminar at the Government Arts College here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that in advanced countries like the US and the UK women aware of breast cancer and they are taking precautionary measures, but in India women have no awareness on breast cancer and it is on the rise, he elaborated. Various kinds of researches are going on across the world over breast cancer to detect its root cause. In pathology also lot of research is required for various diseases to detect their root cause and for advance treatment, he explained.
He urged the students to concentrate on human genetics and its various forms for good and healthy society. On the occasion, he was felicitated by the college principal and teaching staff.
