Vignan University bags 88th rank in country
Vignan University secured 88th position in the country in recently released National Institutional Ranking Framework of MHRD, Central government, out of 3,300 engineering institutions under the engineering category for the year 2017. Incidentally, the university during 2016 also been ranked in 88th position under NIRF among 1,438 institutions.

Addressing a media conference here on Tuesday, Vigan University Vice-Chancellor Dr C Thangaraj stated that it is a great pride for the university to be ranked in the top 100 among the various engineering institutions in the country.
Vignan Group Chairman Dr Lavu Rathaiah said that the hall mark of this year ranking in the excellent grading obtained in the almost all five different parameters under which ranking was given.Vignan Group vice-chairman L Srikrishnadevarayulu stated that the rank will motivate them to perform better.
