RPS convener P Naveen Kumar Reddy has burnt the copy of the GO at a protest held before the municipal corporation here on Tuesday. He alleged the Chief Minister is showing discrimination towards the districts of Rayalaseema for votes and seats. Sri City is like a golden vessel for the drought-hit Chittoor district.

But the government is influenced by Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu and Municipal Minister P Narayana, who belong to Nellore district, and issued the GO transferring the geographical limits of Sri City into NUDA. He also said that no industry has been set up in Rayalaseema region in the present TDP government regime and all the investments are going to Amaravati.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who belongs to Chittoor district, is betraying his own district people, the RPS leader alleged. He urged the new Industries Minister N Amarnath Reddy and IT Minister Nara Lokesh to exert pressure on the Chief Minister for withdrawal of the GO.
