TDP flayed for code violation
In order to lure the voters of 38 Division in Chittoor Municipal Corporation, the TDP functionaries are luring the voters with money and gifts deliberately alleged YSRCP Chittoor Assembly Convenor J. Srinivasulu. Apart from it, with the instigation of the TDP leaders, the Chittoor police have arrested several YSRCP leaders with false cases he decried.

Srinivasulu. Apart from it, with the instigation of the TDP leaders, the Chittoor police have arrested several YSRCP leaders with false cases he decried.
Addressing the press persons here held at Chittoor Press Club on Thursday, he exuded confidence that YSRCP nominee for 38 Division poll would win the race despite the hurdles initiated by TDP and police higher ups. It may be stated here that by election to Mittoor (38 Division) in Chittoor Municipal Corporation would be held on April 9 while the TDP and YSRCP candidates are in the fray. As Siva Prasada Reddy, then corporator of Mittoor died, by election is to be held.
His sister Jyothi is contesting from this ward with a belief that sympathy vote would be more advantageous to win the poll.
Srinivasulu further charged that TDP Government has failed to fulfill the poll promises and have no right to seek the mandate in the said election.
During the last two and half years, he declared that no development has been witnessed in Chittoor city “The Chittoor Municipal Corporation has failed to provide drinking water to the city. As a result, it has become inevitable to the public to purchase water as an essential good. Water sale has become very lucrative in the city. The Chittoor Municipal Council has turned to be a silent spectator leaving the people to their ill fate” he regretted.
He said that voters of Chittoor city have been fed up apparently over the failures of TDP government in attending to their needs. The Municipal Commissioner has become the tool in the hands on TDP rulers. In charge Chittoor Mayor Subramanyam has proved to be a rubber stamp in the municipal council . Hence the TDP has no chance even to get deposit in the ward poll he predicted. YSRCP leaders Purushottam Reddy, Jyothi and others were present.
