Spring Dale student wins bronze in fencing competition

Tirupati: K Nithin Krishna, a tenth class student of Spring Dale Public School here, has won the bronze medal in the national-level fencing competition conducted by the Circle Fencing Federation of India at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala recently. Earlier, he had participated in fencing tournaments held at Bhopal and Karimnagar.

On the occasion, school correspondent KP Vasu has appreciated Nithin Krishna and his parents for making school proud. He opined that children should be trained in various skills apart from academics. School principal Anuradha Gopal, headmistress V Prameela Krishnan and AO Chandrashekar were present.
