Double-lane 418-km Agency road named 516-E
Roads and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu said that the Central government has picked the name 516-E for the 418-km long new double lane road from Rajamahendravaram to Vizianagaram via thick Agency areas. The R&B department has been laying the double lane road from Rajamahendravaram to Vizianagaram via Rampachodavaram, KD Peta, Lambasingi, Chintapalle, Paderu, Araku and S Kota.

The R&B department has been laying the double lane road from Rajamahendravaram to Vizianagaram via Rampachodavaram, KD Peta, Lambasingi, Chintapalle, Paderu, Araku and S Kota.
Minister Ayyannapatrudu on Tuesday visited various Agency areas and inspected the ongoing road works. Speaking on the occasion, he said that all roads of panchayat and R&B in the 11 Agency mandals would be linked with the nearest plain areas by laying new roads. “As the Araku Valley has huge tourism potential the government decided to develop all the possible road network to the destination,” he added.
The government has been giving highest priority to lay and develop the roads connecting every village to the district headquarters. Out of 39 new road works initiated at a cost of Rs 336 crore, 27 road works were completed, the Minister said.
