Twins drown in K-C Canal?
Two boys were feared drowned in K-C Canal waters near Ayyappa Swami Temple here on Tuesday.They were identified as Prakash and Murali (12), twin brothers. They live along with parents Manesh Acharya and Padma in Saptagiri Nagar. The family migrated to the city from Kosigi village of the district.

They live along with parents Manesh Acharya and Padma in Saptagiri Nagar. The family migrated to the city from Kosigi village of the district.
The boys left home on Monday evening to play. As the boys didn’t return home till late in the evening, their parents and relatives started searching for them along the canal only to find their clothes on the banks of the canal. The boys are believed to have been washed away in the canal water.
The II-Town police say the water current in the canal is heavy. The farmers on either side of the banks of the canal have been alerted to search for the boys.
