10 things every woman needs in her purse

A purse is an extension of many a woman’s right arm – far more than just a place to stash one’s cell phone and car keys. If you’re smart, the contents of your purse can save the day.

Whether you’re the type who stuffs the entire solar system into your purse or the type who likes to keep it light and simple, there are a few items which are universally essential to every purse. Here are ten must-haves which you need to find space for in your handbag if you don’t have them already!

Lipstick

Always carry an emergency lipstick with you, always. A lipstick can perk up your face even after the worst meeting at work or most exhausting lunch with your family. Having your favorite shade of lipstick also gives you that much needed confidence boost.

Mad money

Keep an extra wallet in your purse with just some spare notes in case you lose your credit card or wallet. This will keep you from the desperate calls to family members and friends looking for someone who can give you a ride home.

You don’t want to be running around, whispering questions about spare pads or tampons at office, because, and let’s be honest, men know what it means when women begin whispering urgently out of the blue – the creeps. Keep these with you at all times, maybe you can even help someone.

You might think that hand sanitizers are just for the obsessively health conscious, but using this before every meal can really keep the doctor away. It does work, and saves you a trip to the washroom (and let’s face it, washroom’s are light years away).

Lighters

You might not smoke, but these do come in handy. It may be rarely, but finding matches can be even harder. Because, let’s face it, matches are usually what everyone forgets after buying a huge cake for someone’s party. And it might even come handy if you end up in a horror movie, I don’t think a ghost can beat a lighter.
