SRK Richer Than Tom Cruise And Johnny Depp. Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the second wealthiest actor in the world according to a Wealth-X Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List which was released today. SRK also known as the “King of Bollywood” has beaten major Hollywood figures like Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp but is the only Bollywood actor on the top ten list.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the second wealthiest actor in the world according to a Wealth-X Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List which was released today. SRK, also known as the “King of Bollywood”, has beaten major Hollywood figures like Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp but is the only Bollywood actor on the top ten list.
SRK, who was also named as one of the world’s richest self-made personalities by Emirates 24|7, is estimated to be worth $600. He lost the first spot to popular American comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld, who topped the list with a net worth of $820 million.
SRK has appeared in more than 50 Bollywood films and is one of the regulars at the Cannes Film Festival. He’s immensely popular in India as well as around the globe, many of his films being international successes.
Jerry Seinfeld, the cofounder of the TV comedy “about nothing” raised his wealth through off-network syndication deals for the show, giving him at least $400 million in the fifth syndication agreement last year.
Wealth-X compiled the list by identifying the wealthiest movie and TV actors from the US and India. It estimates the combined personal fortunes of all these stars to be at a total of $4.68 billion.
Some of the other actors on the list are three-time Oscar winner Jack Nicholson at $400 million; Forrest Gump and Philadelphia star, Tom Hanks at $390 million; and Clint Eastwood who is the oldest actor on the Rich List at 84, with an estimated personal fortune of $370 million.
