Whoop-de-doos, berms, camel jumps, table tops, kidney belts - a whole new vocabulary is being introduced into Indian sport with the growing popularity of stadium motocross racing. And for the delight of many enthusiasts, the fourth round of the ongoing MRF MoGrip-FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2015 will be held in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Approximately 100 entries from all over the country are expected at the event, which will zoom off at Dam High in Jubilee Hills. The rugged and spectacular event will feature fast and tough motor cycles on the specially-created track, which is in its sixteenth edition. Close to twenty thousand spectators thronged the venues last year.

The technically demanding track is 800m in length, which includes 20 jumps, a step-up table top, whoops and berms. “We have created a demanding track, which will separate the boys from the men,” informed one of the organisers. The off-road two wheeler National Racing Championship was launched in Ahmedabad earlier this year and was followed by rounds in Coimbatore and Chennai. The two-day event in city will conclude on Sunday.
