Already a phenomenon in the other metros of India, microbreweries have made its way to the city and can really bring in a revolution to the diningculture of the city. It is said that there are 30 such establishments awaiting license for operation or soon opening in Hyderabad, Prost being one of them.

Prost Brewpub is one of the first players in the microbreweries segment in Hyderabad. Located in Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills, this establishment is built on a space of over 10,000 square feet and a total seating capacity of 345. A retro theme is given to the whole restaurant.

Old-school bikes hanging from the walls, wooden tables and chairs, raw-brick style walls, a tree right in the middle of the beverage serving area, huge tanks and pipes of the brewery visible from the floor, all make for classy ambience.

Prost is a well-known brand in Bangalore since 2012. They are launching in Hyderabad with this strong reputation. Teja Chekuri, Harsha Vidhatha, Subbaraju, and Rajkumar are the minds behind introducing this microbrewery to Hyderabad.

When asked about whether they are confident in introducing a new culture to Hyderabad, they say in unison that they are sure to entice Hyderabad. “Prost is reputed for adhering to German standards and brewing technology, and that will sure make all the difference,” says Harsha.

Prost has been creating an excitement amongst the youngsters in the city both online and offline. Enquiries regarding when the establishment will open has been popping up everywhere. “The pre-launch is going to happen on September 2. We expect a lot of celebrities like Vivek Oberoi from Bollywood and most of the celebrities from Tollywood to grace the occasion as well,” says Teja.
