One dead, seven injured as cars collide in Bibinagar
The road accident that occurred at Kondamadugu Mettu in Bibinagar mandal on Friday claimed the life of a person and injured seven others.
Bibinagar: The road accident that occurred at Kondamadugu Mettu in Bibinagar mandal on Friday claimed the life of a person and injured seven others.
According to Bibinagar SI Suresh, an Innova vehicle bearing no AP 28 DE 4142, which was travelling from Hyderabad to Bhongir has hit a Swift car that was going towards Hyderabad.
When both vehicles reached Kondamadugu Mettu, the driver of the Innova vehicle while trying to take over a motorist lost his control over the vehicle and hit the Swift car.
In this incident, engines of the both vehicles got completely damaged and eight persons were injured. Srinivas of Warangal district who suffered grievous injuries died at Bhongir government hospital while undergoing treatment.
While some of the injured were shifted to Bhongir hospital, others were taken to Hyderabad for treatment. Bibinagar police registered a case and further investigation is on.
